(Ball of the Hundred and not more than hundred)

Under the High Patronage of:
H.R.H. the Infante Dom Duarte, Duke of Braganza
H.R.I.H. the Archduchess Monika of Habsburg
H.R.I.H. the Archduchess Walburga of Hapsburg
H.R.I.H. the Archduchess Margarete of Hapsburg
H.R.I.H. the Archduchess Johanna of Hapsburg
H.R.H. the Hereditary Princess Elia of the Albanians
HRH Croen Prince Nugzar Bagrationi-Gruzinsky receiving three diplomas.
The Ball of 100 and no more 100 is born from a tradition of the Risorgimento Piedmont that saw in the ancient capital of the Duchy of Monferrato the participation in the mid-Lent dance of up to 199 people, at that time chosen from no more than 100 of Nobility and no more than 99 of the bourgeoisie.
This event takes care of one of the most important cultural and social gatherings of Italian nobility that remains deeply and inextricably linked to the history, roots and traditions of Christian Europe.
The Ball of 100 and no more 100 avails itself of an exclusive and rigorous Promoting Committee, which selects on the basis of certain requisites the people who are invited, or who, through members of the Promoting Committee, ask to participate.
The Georgia Royal familiy attended the Ballo Dei 100 e non piu 100 on the 14th of April 2018 in the beautiful city of Casale Monferrato, in Northern Italy. Princes Anna also attended the ball last year. This year she gave the key note speech introducing her father, the current Head of the Royal House of Georgia who was invited to become an honorary member of "The Historical families of Europe"n "The Historical families of Italy" and received the title of Honorary Member of the Circolo dei Cento and no more than one hundred, three organizations which are devoted to promoting the historical importances of families which have contributed to European history.
HRH Princess Anna, as well, congratulated the President of Historical Families of Italy His Exellency Duke de Vargas Machuca, the President of Historical Families of Europe His Royal Imperial Highness Archduke Josef Karl of Habsburg Lorraine, Her Royal Imperial Highness Archduchess Monika of Habsburg Lorena Duchess of Santanelo and His Serene Highness Prince don Maurizio Gonzaga del Vodice.
Princess Anna further congratulated- Dr. Pier Felice degli Uberti, the President of the International Genealogy Academy, for the important work he does in the world, and he also wants the scholars of Georgia to be admitted to the most important academy of the world of genealogy.
For this special event, Prince Nugzar decided to wear his traditional suit “Chokha” in analogue of Chokha that King Erekle II, his direct ancestor, in 1763 two separated kingdoms of Kartli and Kakheti had been united thus becoming “KING OF THE UNITED GEORGIA KINGDOM”. Prince Nugzar was wearing two breast stars - the St. King David the Psalmist and another the Royal Order of the Crown of the Georgian Kingdom including its Collar.
Before the collapse of the Soviet Union the Royal Family of Georgia lived inside the iron curtain. The fact of being isolated from the European civilization unfortunately allowed some other distant Non-royal members of the Dynasty to act as pretenders. Of course, if the country was not governed by a communist regime, these would not have been allowed to do so.

Georgia is one of the oldest countries in the world. Its status is 3000 years old. Georgia has a monarchical tradition that traces its origins to the Hellenistic period. The Georgian medieval kingdom governed by the Bagrationi dynasty left a legacy that lasts in Georgia even in modern times. The qualities and symbols associated with the Bagrationi monarchy were crucial in the creation of the Georgian nation and in the subsequent construction of national history.
Pier Felice degli Uberti, Knight Grand Cross of Justice Constantinian (Spain), Chairman of two important and prestigious international scientific historical institutions CIGH (Confédération Internationale de Généalogie et d'Héraldique) and ICOC (International Commission for Orders of Chivalry), president of IAGI (Italian Genealogical Institute of Heraldry) and promoter of the Historical association Families of Italy, known and respected researcher, scholar, journalist, writer and editor.
Pier Felice´s concept of association is that of a noble association open to the reality of our world, which preserves the historical right to the families that were part of the nobility, and opened to those families that in the past were NOT noble but today to attain an adequate social level or to receive private bonuses on their merits could be considered noble if the nobility were recognized in their country.

HM King Kigeli V Ndahindurwa of Rwanda Mutual Exchange with the Royal House of Georgia His Royal Highness Prince Nugzar Bagrationi-Gruzinski
|Posted on March 24, 2016 at 5:10 PM|
November 15, 2015 -- A mutual exchange of recognition with H.R.H. Prince Nugzar Bagrationi-Gruzinski, the heir to the royal throne of Georgia and its former constituent kingdoms under the traditions of that venerable land, was signed. His Majesty presents his compliments to H.R.H. Prince Nugzar and his heir, H.R.H. Princess Anna.
A copy of the exchange, which has been edited to protect the signatures of the two royals, may be viewed here:
Given a number of questions from the public, the below clarifies the exchange:
Recently, having been approached by His Royal Highness Prince Nugzar Bagrationi-Gruzinski, with the intent of establishing fraternal ties, His Majesty accepted his friendship and so recognized the aforementioned Prince Nugzar as a Prince of the Georgian Royal House and the Orders and honors granted by him as one of the traditional customs of Georgia. His Majesty recognizes that said House, much like many other non-reigning Royal Houses of Europe, has alternative claimants resulting from the historic turmoil suffered by that land. Consequently, His Majesty clarifies that in such cases it is up to the members of the each royal system and ultimately the people of that country to decide their own system of government. His Majesty's fraternal ties with Prince Nugzar and any other Royal in no way diminishes His Majesty's wish for the people of Georgia or any other country for that matter to make their own decisions, nor is his gesture of friendship intended to insult any of the other claimants, Royal Patrons of the Prester John Institute, or members of any organizations His Majesty is affiliated with, and least of all cause confusion or conflict for the Prester John Institute of which His Majesty is a founding member and Regent.
Further, His Majesty also clarifies that when he grants Courtesy Patronage to an organization where he is not an active member, it is possible that those responsible for the same, may and do express opinions that do not always reflect His Majesty’s personal sentiments. Consequently, only statements made on this website and in signed and sealed statements from His Majesty should be considered Official Statements.
